From the baseball diamonds to a real diamond!
Matt and Lauren are both baseball coaches and players so when it came to switching diamonds, Matt knew he met his perfect pitch.
Matt and I met years ago when I worked at Humber College. He was the Baseball coach and I was the varsity sports photographer and I hardly spoke to any of the coaches of the teams. They were always so intimidating because they were there to win with their teams. And did they ever.
Then Matt moved into the office for a new role and he became a new person. He loved to crack jokes and make sure everyone was well taken care of on the fields and off. So when it came to taking care of him and his fiance, I knew I needed to do my best to support Matt and Lauren.
From their engagement shoot that had to include their two furry friends, I knew this couple was for me. They were so relaxed and supportive of each other from day one. Maybe not always, but when I was with them, all they did was squeeze each others butts and make sure they both felt loved in each others arms. When it finally came to their wedding day, they had all of their friends and family with them to laugh with them, cry with them and have epic dance battles for them during the reception. The night ended with an incredible bonfire and every single person, even the grandparents stayed to celebrate Matt and Lauren.
Here are a few of the best moments from Matt & Lauren's wedding day at Glen Drummand Farm with their best friends and incredible families. And you bet they had all the baseball items and decor they could mixed into their day.
